wow ... that's a big call. i wonder if Air Canada will now change the rules around this sort of thing.

Surely the last thing you want to do after all that flying is to fly anymore. A long stay on on terra firma may be advisable under the circumstances. :?

And he is a contract pilot. :roll:

Maybe he wants the notoriety/ fame. IIRC there was something about him having an agent in LA. I think the movie Punch Drunk Love was loosely based on the pudding guy's exploits. Or was it someone else

I dont think Air Canada will change any rules. The air pass was a limited offer no longer sold, and they got a lot of good publicity out of this guy.

He's a pilot who flies longhaul every month, including some during the million (earned) mile run. Somehow I dont think lots of flying fazes him.
