xONEx alternative NA options
A slow sunday downloading new versions of some software and surfing the web planning my Christmas travel.
So the question is... (not for Christmas, later in 2009, probably July/August time) i am wondering about some interesting NA options for a DONE3/DONE4 (Simple DONE3 .. ICN-HKG-KIX-SIN-FRA-MAD-LHR-MCT-LHR-SFO-MIA-DFW-BOS-DFW-JFK-HKG-ICN) As a hint the one i have already is SFO-MIA-DFW-BOS-DFW-JFK so not especially interesting in doing exactly the same route a second time. A good earner i looked at for summer is... SFO-MIA-BOS-DFW-ANC-DFW-JFK So anybody with any hints for some good earning and interesting places to visit, maybe with some Canada ?? Or South America I came up with a few different options... ICN-KIX-SIN-HKG-JFK-DFW-SFO-LHR-MCT-LHR-HEL-LHR-SYD-AKL-SYD-HKG-ICN ICN-KIX-SIN-HKG-MEL-CNS-MEL-SYD-EZE-CCS-SCL-GRU-LHR-IST-LHR-HKG-ICN The only requirements i have are. 1.) First flights should include ICN, KIX, SIN in that order 2.) MEL is hope town so useful to be in there but not essential (Credit is to QF, may as well try to make LTG before i change who i credit to) E |

Re: xONEx alternative NA options
One to consider in the USA is SFO-ORD-TPA-DFW-ANC-DFW-JFK although this routing earns slightly less SCs than the routing you are contemplating. In my opinion Tampa is a nice place to visit and you can't go wrong with Chicago in the summer months.

Re: xONEx alternative NA options
Thanks, worth a thought that one. I have never been to ANC or TPA so could be interesting.
I spoke to my father this evening and he is still keen in 2009 to see South America and he would be happy enough to take a similar route to me and cross paths on our trip so it looks like we may end up doing something like... SYD-EZE-LIM-SCL-IPC-SCL-FRA I will update this thread when i book it, i really need to do it tomorrow i think, I am not so happy the Korean Won is appreciating though at the moment. Its costing more every day i look. Just goto spend the time to compare the CX ticket option since it can be done much easier than AA where i understand i actually need to visit the office. E |

There's some good info on FT (even a thread on how to maximize the six segments); but that's down at the moment.
I'll dig it up when I can. This may help as well: RTW ticket, longest routings ?? [On 16 segment rules] - FlyerTalk Forums
