Wanted: Arrivals & Departure Cards

I have looked everywhere for an electronic copy of the Australian passenger departure card and the arrivals card but can't find a legible copy of either.

An overseas friend will be visiting soon and she has asked if I can go over the questions with her..Is anyone out there able to point me to a web link please?

Failing this, does anyone know where I can get some blank forms from? I could go to the airport but it's a long drive.

cheers

Most travel agents will keep a stock for their clients, head to your local flight centre and they should be able to assist.

Try this link, from a German information site for Australia, for older pdf copies of the Customs Incoming Passenger Card and the Outgoing Passenger Card. Some of the questions have changed slightly since then but you get a general idea of what information is required on the cards.

Here is a PDF of the incoming passenger card (btw: google can often help with such things - a google search for "incoming passenger card" australia turned it up immediately):

That's an older version of the card, so some of the questions have changed. I must remember next time when travelling to take clear photos of both cards and store it somewhere on this website. It's a common request to see them.

For the OP, there are cards in several languages (if that is your concern), but I agree that your local travel agent might be able to assist if you want to get an advance copy.

Re: Wanted: Arrivals & Departure Cards

Thanks everyone...did try googling but couldn't find a current version either..Thought Immigration/Customs might have them on their websites but not to be..

Nevertheless, have just tracked down hard copies of the current version and will try to post those on here in the coming days (my scanner's out of action and my camera doesn't capture them clearly.). Where's the best place to put them? (be nice)

Thanks for reminding me that they are available in other languages...My friend said that the flight attendants have only offered her the English version of the arrivals card in the past. I guess she should ask this time..

cheers

You can attach small images to your post, so if you attach them to this thread they can be referenced later in other posts.

Depends on the carrier and the route as to which cards they carry. Some flights might only carry English, some might carry Japanese and English etc. Worth asking though, as the (arrivals card at least) comes in at least the following languages: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese.

Re: Wanted: Arrivals & Departure Cards

Just open the scanned image using Paint (the basic image software that come with windows) and save as a JPG file.
