When do you intend to fly SYD-CNS-MEL?

Guys I need help... Mileage Monkey validates my quick DONE4 for mel-lax-bos-jfk-lhr-syd-cns-mel
Oneworld.com doesn't and TA can't book it. It is all about the SYD-CNS-MEL segment. Says does not meet rules. There is a 3 month break between LHR-SYD and SYD-CNS-MEL. In March I was on EZE-SYD-CNS-MEL and it worked perfectly.
Thanks

When do you intend to fly SYD-CNS-MEL?

Hi Serfty.
I get back to Sydney August 1st and continue in November.
thanks

Those dates should not be an issue.
The online booking tool seems buggy in that it only allows the one stopover in Oz. i.e. LHR-oSYD-xCNS-MEL is fine, but LHR-oSYD-oCNS-MEL is rejected with:Two stopovers of greater than 24 hours permitted in the continent of origin and only one permitted in each direction within the country of origin.

This is something that I was looking at over the weekend that has me intrigued.
The Oneworld Explorer webpage has the following entry:
Flights and stopovers
The technical rulesheet has made no adjustment to Rule 8, however, which simply states the 2 stopover limitation.
- You are allowed to take two stopovers in total within your continent of origin in order to get to or from a gateway to begin or return from your international travel of which a maximum of 1 stopover is permitted in each direction in the country of origin.
- After departing from your continent of origin, you are allowed to take up to four flights to explore each of the other continents (six flights in North America).
- You can book up to two additional flights per continent, at a set rate.
- You can fly up to 16 flight segments on your trip. Travel between two airports by surface transportation will count as one flight segment
So, as I read it, 1 stopover can be taken on the way out, with 1 stopover taken on the way back in, which prevents the common practice of extra domestic flights at the end of the itinerary. That is very limiting, if so.
If this has been noted before, I apologise, as it slipped under my radar.
And whilst we're on really quick questions about them without starting yet another thread
Payment
For my family rtw in y at Christmas i'm looking at 23000ish bucks
If i pay online thru the online tool do i have to pay up front or will i go and visit my local TA where i can not only pay fee free with amex but delay it a bit?
Shane
second dumb question
When i try and book another one online , with every segment on review saying that its available, at the final hurdle it says some segments are unavailable
I've altered the flights and dates and it still says some segments unavailable
What am i missing?
SHane
