I'm now confused about how Krisflyer works. I logged into my account this morning to see if yesterday's flights had posted yet (they had), but then noticed that current 'Elite Miles' was showing zero. My year is not up until the 30/6.
"WTF???", thought I, then I noticed that my current tier had changed from 'Elite Silver' to 'Elite Gold'. I was fairly sure that you first of all had to post 25000 miles to get to Silver, then post 50000 'Elite miles' (excludes 25% status bonus) to get to Gold. I had only got to 63000 this year with yesterday's flights.
So what has happened?. Have the FF gods smiled upon me and I can use the Gold KrisFlyer lounge in SIN on the way home? Or am I complete dork and not able to read the T&Cs correctly?

I was under the impression the SQ program operated like QF does with status credits - based on total accumulated.
25,000 to get to Silver, and then another 25,000 to get to Gold (ie total of 50,000 to get gold).
This contrasts to, say bmi, where you need 3,000 to get BluePlus another 16,000 to get to Silver and then another 38,000 to get to gold - or 57,000 in total.
