qf e-ticket

I booked a fare for friend from tsv-bne on qf site. As she doesn't have internet, I put down my email add.

When I opened the e-ticket receipt, it said there was an error and the written information comes out all gobbly gook.

She is a very nervy nellie and doesn't do much flying and for her to call Qantas and enquire re. another e-ticket receipt could turn into an undoable situation.

My question is, I'm thinking of calling up and acting like her and giving the booking ref. number and asking for another e-ticket receipt to be sent via email. Having read recently on the board, there has been airport ck.-in people asking for the e-ticket, I don't want to chance it for her. She is spaced out abt. the trip as it is and it's not until May.

Any thoughts? thanks again

Why don't you use the site below to print a copy of the eticket?

It contains all the necessary info! I have never been asked for an eticket receipt for domestic travel except when accessing the QC prior to obatining my BP.

Was it a PDF (Adobe Acrobat) file ? if so sometimes this happens ! i have no idea why i thought it related to old version of Acrobat but not sure about that.
In any case you should be able to get it from CMT as given by kpc.

Yeah I have this issue lately with one of my E-Tickets.

I'm certain its not a software problem as the other 20 E-Tickets I've had so far this year have opened fine.

In this occassion - it was a booking for a another person and I just forwarded the E-Ticket and they asked me why it wouldn't open. I also hadn't noted the Booking Reference number....
