Just trying to find out how long it takes for QFF points to be posted to account after valet parking is used. It seems to be taking longer and longer - have been waiting 4 weeks for last credit and nothing has appeared.

What are others' experiences?

Last time I used them (early March) they hadn't posted after 3 weeks, so I emailed a scan of the invoice to frequent_flyer@qantas.com.au - they were then posted next day.

that's what I did about 2 times ago after 3 1/2 weeks. I want to see how long until they post automatically!

From experience the points post automatically after close to 6 weeks however the last time I used Qantas Valet they posted in 4 weeks.

I had no idea you could submit a copy of your receipt to speed up the claim- I will have to try that next time.

A new operator started March 1 replacing hertz, that might affect timings moving forward!

I did too - with the new operator came a reduction in the points/$ earned. Possibly not directly related - just Qantas being opportunistic - but enough that I'll only use it now when my employer is paying.

Gave up waiting.

Used Valet Parking Melbourne from 1-7 March. (1 March was day new operator took over).

Points hadn't appeared so yesterday 3pm faxed the receipt to the Qantas Freq Flyer Service Centre in melbourne.

Hey presto, this morning the points had been credited (overnight) to my QFF account.

Without my prodding I doubt that the points would ever have appeared! Any thoughts?

Used valet again this month and no points have appeared.

Has anyone had the Qantas Valet Parking points appear automatically on the QFF account without any prompting since the new operator took over from Hertz in March 08?

[PS: I have just fired off a fax to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Service Centre in Melbourne requesting missing points (attaching receipt copy). I have created a template so it doesn't take long. As they usually do, I expect the points to be credited overnight tonight]

I used valet parking at Melbourne for 3 days starting May 11, and the points were credited to my FF account on June 4.
