aside from the long term parking within brisbane airport itself, are there any alternatives to it?

and, have you used it and what are your thoughts?

THere are a couple of car rental places just ouside the airport,
Where the round about is

They rent cars and trucks and they also adversites long term parking for the airport.

I think their might be some other places there too

Good time to discuss QF Valet ? What's that like, and has anyone used it ?

My only comment is that it's not available in all ports in Aus.

ioki, as davem stated, there are two secure car parking facilities on the Arterial Road, just past the corner of Nudgee Road. They use a mini-bus to shuttle pax between terminals and their facility. Never used it, but one would suspect that it has pitched it's prices below that of the long term facility.

Valet Parking - a subject icemann correctly pointed out hasn't been broached here - either for a very long time or at all (without having done a search).

I used to use it alot in BNE when going on overnighters or same-day trips(back when I used to live further away from the airport and didn't have a willing chauffeur to come and pick me up :wink: ). Back then it was a little cheaper. Still, for the convenience factor, it used to be great to drive past everybody waiting at the taxi rank...

dear all,

*nods* to the long term solution within the airport but as i am not parking there on business trips, its starting to bite into the wallet if the car was left there for more 2 days+.

i've gone with a mob called Airport Secure Park they are situated near that big ol' round about at the beginning of the airport drive.

i shall report back next week with my thoughts on the service.
