A friend has asked whether it is possible to do a LONE4 which generates enough SCs to retain QFF Gold status (600SCs).
Has anyone designed or used (or otherwise heard of) a LONE4 (ex AUS) which has done this?

I agree, very tough!
Best I could do (quickly) was 450 (pointless routing), or 445 (not quite as pointless). So while there is doubtless some tweaking that could be done to increase the SCs, there's a fair shortfall there...

For a LONE4, the easy way to maintain OWS is to aim for AA PLT status through a challenge. Start after 16th June and lasts until end feb 2011
If wanting QF Gold, I would suggest looking at helping it along with WT+/PE for part of the journey since 600 SCs is fairly hard to achieve

This itinerary earns 480 SC's:

Do LHR-MEL in WT+ for $1100 and earn and addition 60 SC's.

On a LONE4 arent you also hampered by the minimum stay rule of 10 days (which I think is waived for D/AoneX)?
Wouldn't the better option a flight to the US and some YUPPs and KUPPs?
