good business class deal suggetions please

I need lateral thinking - I want to do an around the world trip - Melbourne - london - lax - melbourne
basically but am happy to have to deviate elsewhere if there is a good deal as long as I get to london and lax.
does anyone know of any deals or the best and most economical business class ticket to get? Have found a Virgin Atlantic at around $9K but is there anyway doing anything cheaper and still go J?
BTW - looking at departing mid September and returning mid October.

Take a look at the Lufthansa fare, its a Europe fare which allows you to fly to/from Europe via LAX/YVR in one direction.
Their LH/TG/UA fare is $5733 pls approx $1000 taxes.

Thats probably going to be the cheapest, even giving consideration to beginning a done4 outside AU.

It can be very difficult to get seats, so you'd be best to find a friendly agent which is willing to spend time searching for seats, although it may already be too late for September on that one.
