'CIP' - Printed on QF Boarding Pass - Meaning ??
Hi all,
For some time now when i pick up a BP with QF it has printed in the service information 'CIP' - does anyone else get these abbreviations and understand what they mean?
I always forget to ask them, as it is always a mad rush with me.
Who gets what on theirs?
cheers SPRUCE

Computer Ink Problem. Were there any parts of the printout on the boarding pass missing?
(Actually, yep - Commercially Important Person/Passenger). A tag that can be added by your travel arranger for certain people. Supposedly gives you some preference when things go wrong. There are a few threads on the topic here, I'll try and track them down.

That would be the Intercontinental Hotels Group program (Priority Club), with the Plat reference relating to the subsequently identified Royal Ambassador recognition level as shown on the one membership card.
