What did you think was wrong with BA entertainment. Other than not being AVOD it seems not dissimilar to QFs. 18 Channels on a 2.5 hour loop, just the same as QF non AVOD . The only difference I can see is that QF has some cruddy games but I wouldnt call the lack of them that bad.

When wanting to change seats, I would suggest just asking at the QP rather than check in

Poor choice of movies although I have not seen what QF has to offer this month.

Cruddy to you but important to some to pass the time away.

Very hectic Sunday and no time to check internet or even spend time in QP. Flight was evidence enough of the seat availability.

Overall experience with BA quite good.

Re: BA Online Checkin at MEL

Well the QF movies in economy are listed as

16 Blocks
Basic Instinct 2
Candy
Failure to Launch
The Pink Panther
March of the Penguins
Ice Age: The Meltdown

plus some channels of other non movie stuff. BA does offer 18 channels in economy rather than QFs 12 so does stand a better chance of something to watch. Of course, the AVOD QF flights have a bigger choice than BA
