Going to do a few more OS trips before I print mine. Also premium members will hopefully be able to save PDF maps at some stage soon.

Did you get it in the end? I know they were taking some holidays up til the first week of Jan.

Smile Re: Flightmemory.com Premium service

Got it this morning, and it is pretty cool.

It has taken almost 6 weeks to come, but it looks like it was held up in Australian customs, as it was sent from the USA on 19/1.

Have to say I was really impressed with the customer service I got from Flightmemory.com. I sent off an email asking them if the poster has been sent or not. I got a reply that was so nice, they even offered to reprint and resend it for me if it hadn't arrived by the end of the week.

I agree. When i discovered that I could make PDF files of the maps, the apologised for the confusion and offered to refund my premium upgrade. I told therm not to worry about it.

Re: Flightmemory.com Premium service

A little OT - I've been updating my flightmemory info a bit lately (now have all flights 2004-present - I think ) and thought I would share my stats and public profile page.

Still got quite a few years of data to enter

How's your sanity ...

I've given up entering information, it's too flaming problematical ....

I'll stick with BA97.com for the time being ...

Cheers ...

Re: Flightmemory.com Premium service

Does anyone know if the premium service on flightmemory allows you to either export the data to excel or view your statistics for a given date range.
I need to report on my travel/flight data for my travel insurance each financial year Jul-June... I do this now by copying the data into excel from FM and retyping it so I can sum it up.
Or does anyone else use another website/application to record this info?

This fin year was a personal best!
58 Flights
216:22 Hrs Flying
158,916 km Flown
129 Nights spent away from home

I don't think you easily can.. you can export as a PDF. I've put in a request to be able to view date ranges in the flight data area and it is on the list. you could extract the data from the PDF or even from the HTML

While I have a FlightMemory Account, I tend to use a similar service operated by some of the people who frequent the British Airways Forum over at Flyertalk

ba97.com | Travel Calendar

Allows for Excel importing through CSV files.

I simply cut and pasted the flight data table from Firefox into Lotus Symphony Spreadsheets (I don't use M$ Excel) with a little cleaning up - it gets me a spreadsheet which I can manipulate as I please.

The tidying up includes a couple of macros that split up the cells that end up with

|20.06.2008|
| 08:30 am |
| 10:00 am |

to be

| 20.06.2008 | 08:30 am | 10:00 am |

(I am using the pipe (|) to represent cell borders)
