DJ reduce CBRSYD schedule already??

A workmate was trying to book DJ CBRSYD in early May and it appears their
8 services each way per day have been reduced from 05May . The web site only offers 4 services from CBR to SYD...nothing between 9am and 5pm .SYDCBR has 5 services with nothing between 0730 and 1530.

Re: DJ reduce CBRSYD schedule already??

Still shows 8 in the timetables... but the GDS seems to show only 4 available for booking.... but if you go to the Virgin Blue website you can still book any of the 8 flights.
Perhaps a glitch with the GDS then?

I owuld have expected a few more <$99 fares if it was doing so badly... I have been looking, but no specials recently

Re: DJ reduce CBRSYD schedule already??

This is very interesting and thanks for alerting me.

I had a booking with DJ for CBR-PER (via SYD) in mid-May. Just checked it on DJ website and it has been rescheduled via MEL (I now have to leave 1.5 hrs earlier!).

Confirmed with DJ reservations that the CBR-SYD flight has been cancelled, so looks like they are scaling back these flights.

In fairness I never saw the reduced schedule on the Virgin site - It was only in Amadeus timetables.

Re: DJ reduce CBRSYD schedule already??

Hmmm,

My sister just booked DJ910 SYD-CBR, 1 June, departing 8.35 am.

It's definitely a bookable flight via the VB web-site. It's definitely not showing on the VB web site timetable.

Hopefully she won't have to walk.

The web-site does say:

"Please be aware that every effort is made to keep the schedules up to date but in some instances the information provided in the schedule will be out of date. Please use the booking engine to find flights not listed in the schedule."
