United Premier Associate
Hi
I have to nominate a General member of United to receive premier status within the next week. As none of my friends are united members, I throw it open to the floor. Would anyone who is travelling before 31 December like United Premier Elite status before they travel?

Premier Associate Nomination
Premier Associate nominee must be a current general Mileage Plus member at time of nomination (nominee can not be an existing Premier Associate, Premier, Premier Executive, 1K or Global Services member) and join Mileage Plus by February 15, 2009, to be eligible for this offer. Nominated Premier Associate status benefits are valid through February 2009 if qualifying member's reward selection and nomination process is completed on or before June 30, 2008; if nomination to Premier associate status is completed between July 1, 2008 and February 15th, 2009, then the respective benefits are valid through January 2010. A member who nominates another member to Premier Associate status will receive a one-time bonus posted to their Mileage Plus account in the amount of five percent (5%) of the actual paid flight miles flown by his/her nominee on United, United Express, Ted and Star Alliance between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008 and posted to the nominee's Mileage Plus account on/before January 14, 2009. Miles credit will be posted to the member's account between January 15, 2009 and February 28, 2009, and the maximum credit that can be earned is 10,000 miles. Nominee's nominated status is for Premier Associate only, and cannot be used to give someone Premier, Premier Executive or 1K status.
