PER-AKL-PPT was $110, I'm guessing yours will be similar or less. Not that they ever charged me the $110, so if you're lucky it will be free.Originally Posted by Tiki

Next month we will be within the 330 days from travel date to book the MP award BNE RAR. Just wondering what the taxes are running if anyone has done this recently?

Nice use of UA MP zonesOriginally Posted by StevePER

IIRC the last time I did this, it took forever for them to charge my credit card but it did eventually come through. They probably send them monthly or fortnightly to the USA to be processed.
Do they book as a UA codeshare or directly on the NZ flight?
I wouldn't expect the UA codeshare unless part of an itinerary that includes UA metal flights, which isn't the case here.
Are these awards usually e-tickets or paper tickets? Last time I redeemed one was in 2004 for travel in 2005. It was paper then but I was able to pick it up in person at the BNE office which is now closed.
My last ticket to RAR (this year but not an MP award) was e-ticket.
Mine to PPT was also e-ticket. I just wish I could check it online somewhere...
Not many airlines offer OLCI for international flights. SQ & BA being two.
That's good, I am glad this will be an e-ticket anyway. Steve, can't you see the itinerary in UA by typing the PNR? I know I was able to get NZ to email me an itinerary but the actual ticket in 2004 was paper. Thanks guys!
