Just wondering if anyone has purchased this?

UA site says the Economy Plus seats are a request and won't always be garanteed...

If one was to purchase this Annual Economy Plus Membership how would one go about garanteeing their seat in Economy Plus?

Will arriving early for check in cut it?!

The extra few inches on a flight Syd-LA and back would be muchly appreciated! Only considering forking out the $349 because i am flying UA 7 or so times for my entire trip. Pays for itself really.

Haven't heard many stories of "entitled" folks mssing out....

MY probelm with E+ access is that you can't buy/apply it - while crediting the flights to another program... AFAIK anyway...

If you wish to avail yourself of the perks of this membership you must credit to the United MP FF program, not those of other Star Alliance members such as LH Miles & More.

Or in my case NZ Airpoints.... Thanks for making that clearer!!!

Be nice to be able to buy Access for all the domestic flights.. while STILL crediting the "base" flight to my "home" FF program... Suppose it is logical for UA to do it the way they do..... doesn't mean I hafta like it o'course!!

Getting round the problem lately by travelling with a buddy who has status on UA... he gets me E+.. I get him lounge access...

    Fair??

You can of course purchase E+ at check in for each flight, for a very reasonable fee (space permitting). This is what I would be doing if I weren't 1K MM.
