QF009 visits the US of A [dedicated to taipeiflyer and HUGE AL]

Continued from:
http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/comm...rld-11965.html

I'd like to dedicate this part of my report to 2 wonderful SQTalkers, taipeiflyer and HUGE AL who were there for me the entire time in LA and without whom things might have taken a very different, and more severe turn.

Getting to know both these individuals is one of the most profound privileges anyone can ever have. Cheers yet again to both of you.

Next: AA137 LHR-LAX F; W Los Angeles-Westwood; Los Angeles, including my unexpected visit to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre ER

Well done QF009, you have added MLA to an upcoming DONE4 and shared the joy of a capsule hotel. I stayed in one during a stay in Tokyo, huge fun and the on-sen (Japanese spa) in the basement was great. You would come in from a large night and soak the hangeover away.

Keep it up 009! I'm looking forward to hearing how you convince the LA hospital to credit SPG

Bear in mind that MLA falls into the "far reaches of Europe" restriction - something to consider if you also want a Middle Eastern detour. Also, the new BA mainline services to MLA don't operate at the most social of hours.

Hehe - well at least the bed was quite comfy. I didn't get any SPG credit from LA as the W LA was booked under my mum's account.

Keep going QF009 - the lack of death though is making this TR a little less exciting
