Qantas to boost London, Los Angeles services with new A380s | The Australian
QANTAS today said it would operate daily A380 services from Sydney to both London and Los Angeles by November.
Lazy interpretation of a QF press release. Typical.
Should it not read "Qantas to expand A380 UK/US flights"?
Love this quote in particular:
Now that would be a significant reduction in capacity!!! Missing the crucial words at the end of the sentence in the QF release " ... UK/US flights with its A380 fleet". Shows just how easily the media can alter meanings of sentences by omitting some key words.By the end of the year, Qantas will operate 34 services per week between Australia and the UK and US, it said

I've got a seat on QF12 LAX/SYD in February next year - currently operated by a 744.
Will be interesting to see if/when the QF website shows this is to be a 388 flight.

Qantas will increase A380 services to London and Los Angeles later this year as the carrier prepares to take delivery of four more superjumbos..
Sydney-Singapore-London services will rise from three to five per week from August 6 while Sydney and LA A380 services will rise from three to four. Both will be daily from November while Melbourne to LA flights will increase from two to three per week.
Meanwhile,Qantas will codeshare on Iberia airlines services for the first time on routes to Madrid via Frankfurt and London while Iberia will place it's code on
Qantas services from Frankfurt and London to Sydney.
