Sad news from One dead in helicopter crash at Cooloongatta Airport | National Breaking News | News.com.au
ONE man is dead and another two have been injured in a helicopter crash at Cooloongatta Airport on the Gold Coast this morning.
The Courier-Mail reports the helicopter is believed to have crashed into heavy scrub at the end of the runway about 10.15am.
Emergency crews are currently at the scene.
A spokeswoman from the RACQ CareFlight Rescue team said it was believed that two passengers were on board the R22 Helicopter.
