hi,

my footy team are in the Gold Coast as i type (im in Adelaide) and my wife has just given me a leave pass to head up there, i can get a cheap flight out, but there is not much coming back on Monday from either Gold Coast or Brisbane!

do you think if i rang Virgin Blue, try and sweet talk them into releasing a velocity seat??? (there is none left on their website)..... any other ideas.....

dont have QFF and prices a really high on the return flight, trying to go cheapo as i can!

Hmmm, lots of additional information may be required, before we can help.

Have you looked at BNE or OOL via either SYD or MEL to ADL (rather than just direct flights, which may have lower availability)

How flexible are you as to when you travel? Will you have checked bags?

sorry i wont have checked bags and yes i have looked at all possibilities OOL to Syd-ADL or ex Bris, prices are expensive for some reason! arrghhh
if only just one velocty seat would be avail!

Because you are looking to fly on a Monday, at late notice, between trunk routes - of course there are going to be less seats available

BNE/ADL looks cheaper than BNE/SYD/ADL or BNE/MEL/ADL; haven't checked OOL yet (not very proficient on DJ).

BNE/ADL $309 (19.15 departure on DJ 1406)

Travelling back on Sunday not much better:

BNE/ADL $299 (05.30 departure on DJ 1384)
OOL/ADL $509
OOL/SYD $239 (07.05 departure on DJ 1384) but no cost eff. connector
OOL/MEL $219 (06.00 departure on DJ 724) + various $299 connectors
OOL/MEL $259 (07.40 departure on DJ 726) + various $299 connectors

Even Tiger OOL/ADL is $358 (09.10am departure on TT883)
