SQ opens The Private Room at SIN T3

To open on 01JUL08.

Pretty much a higher level Flounge at T3, similar to the CCR. Entry will be limited to Singapore Airlines Suites and First Class pax only. I am told that it'd be a "full service" Flounge, whatever that means - maybe a place I can have my champagne brekkies prior to departure?

I've got an SQ F flight out of SIN next month. It's out of T2 though but hopefully they'd let me enter anyway - I promise a full pictorial report if they do.

A Flounge for First pax only? What a revolution! Should be more of it.

Re: SQ opens The Private Room at SIN T3

No access for F pax on redemption tix/mileage upgrades...
Though some mates did get in this morning (BD redemptions) so I'd try my luck later this month. They're serving the same champers as the general Flounge and the SKL J (Heidsieck mis en cave)...so I'm not sure what's so special about this place other than some comfy chairs and a dining area... I mean, you do expect something different if they're going to limit access like that, eg the LH and LX FCLs/FCT.

The difference is in the entry policy, although it would be nice to have the Dom Rosé that they serve in Suites.

I meant I expected something 'wow' with such an entry policy, doesn't seem like it thus far.
