I'm in the temp F lounge now. Pretty much same on offer but the other lounge definately has a better view and feel to it. Computers seem good speed. The Krug is on display, none is on ice and no staff serving. Gotta go now.

My flight is now running 4 hours late so I have had plenty of time to do a mini trip report.
WHen I checked in at the F desk, I was given a card with information and a map showing how to get to the new lounge.
After going thru imagration I still took the 'special staircase' to the old F lounge. As one would expect, it was closed. Workers were removing decals etc from inside the glass doors. You can't see them in the image.
I went down the lift and noticed plates had been put on the button indicators for the J lounge, hiding the F stuff. New signs have been put up in the consourse with directions. You can't really read the bottom bit but it indicates the Qantas First-Class lounge.
The entrance is as for the old QP, not much change.
The is some fancyful artwork around around and a few paintings.
There are four workstations with PC and printer and discretely scattered around are modem ports.
The furnishings have been updated, a bit hard to take pix of people however. There is a TV viewing area which is also a designated mobile free zone.
It's the same food / beverage service area as the old J lounge. The tucker's a lot better though.
The food bar was serviced regularly. I took a pix of a plate of rare roast beef, tempura 'prawns' and some cheese.
Outside is Gate 31. Earlier there was an Air Pacific 747 being turned around.
All in all quite comfortable. It's a bit larger than the one just relocated from. It will be interesting to see where and how large the new one being built is.
It's now 6 hours since first came here, I have another two to go. If any have any questions, feel free to post.
