I think mikew is using "Posted" to mean the new status was updated on his profile and he received the kits within 11 days and 14 days respectively.

Well QF must think mrsdrron is worth looking after-I guess they knew she was in Aadvantage and does frequent DONE4s.
Qualifying sector finished 1800 26/7.
Gold status on her summary 0800 28/7
Gold card etc picked up 0800 2/7.
Doesnt get a silver one though

No need. They know you've renewed for the year, but won't process it until about 1 month (or maybe it's 2!) before your expiry. Then you'll get the nice renewal pack in the mail.

Rang Qantas today to book my Asia Circle fare for next year and asked about the new SG card. The lady I spoke to confirmed that on the month prior to your renewal date cards are sent out.

Interestingly, despite the promptness of the SG card arriving and the lack of PS card, it looks like Mrs Djf's WP kit won't be arriving until at least the third week - in keeping with straitman's experience.

Wonder why WP seems to take longer? Maybe they're busy printing out all the renewal cards on the new unembossed stock?

Had a friend who qualified for SG, and it's been 16 business days still no sign of it. QF re-sent it, and said if you get two, then just keep one as a spare

I think they are just taking forever for everything. Maybe they bulk it up and post, to try and get a discount from AUS POST?
