I booked two seats in May using my QFF points to travel YUL-JFK on AA. Total +++ charges were USD$65. This still hasn't hit my CC yet, will they wait until we travel or have they forgotten about us? Also, does the charge appear as QF, or as AA directly?
Thanks guys,

US Domestic/US-CA flights do not attract any fuel fines due, I believe, to the US not allowing fuel fines to be charged separately but having to be included into base fare, so no need to worry about any fuel fines coming later

Sometimes it can take a few months for the charges to be processed. The charge will be from a QF related subsidiary not AA.
Just an update on this, we're now three weeks out from travelling and the charges still haven't appeared and I'm pretty sure that an e-ticket hasn't been issued yet either. Should I be concerned?
I can still see the booking and the segment still shows as an info segment in our QF itineraries as well as a separate PNR. I just want to avoid turning up at YUL and being told woops, there's no ticket issued so you're not going anywhere.

I would be concerned
I booked a LAX-BNE ticket and charges came out in US$ and my cc was debited within 2 days and I had eticket later that night

Why don't you phone AA and ask them whether there is a ticket number in the booking?
Yeah, the points were deducted immediately, the taxes just haven't been charged yet.

Thanks Dave, I'll do that. I logged onto checkmytrip and could see the E-Ticket numbers for our BNE-SYD-LAX-JFK return flights but when I did the same for the YUL-JFK segment, there was no e-ticket listed. I think I'll give AA a ring.
Which number should I use considering I have no AA status etc?

I've never booked an Award before so do we get an itinerary/e-ticket the same as if we book a ticket over the QF website?
