Hi
I flew Qantas late last week and have yet got my points added to my account. I noticed that lately Qantas has been a bit slower in adding points to your account. In the past, the points get added about 2 days after the flight (sometimes even instantly).
I've tried the online claim process however my claim was rejected. When I called Qantas, the operator told me that my claim was rejected because I claim the wrong travel class (I flew J and the claim was for Y)This confuse me a bit since there is no field to select the travel class of the claimed flight on the claim page.
Anyhow, Qantas agreed to add the points while I'm on the phone, however, eventhough the points are showing on my activity statement it doesn't accrue in my total points and SC summary pageI guess I need to make another call sometime today.
And before someone asks, yes I do have my QFF number on my booking (it's printed on my boarding pass as well)
My question is: have any of you been noticing slower posting of points on your QFF account lately?

I had one flight not post in my recent across Australia trip...but considering it was a BME/PER sector I put that down to BME staff on "Broome time". I put in a claim and within the same day, it had posted.
My BNE/NAN/BNE flights took 2 day for the outbound but a week on the return...I put that down to "Fiji time".
Given the ever growing number of QFF's, I guess the system will encounter constraint problems from time to time.

no issues here, actually cannot even remember the last time a QF flight number did not post within a day of the flight into my account, mostly the same day. Now JQ flights can take up to 3 days to post.
I have not noticed anything unusual commuting SYD-BNE in the last 2 months. Most flights have posted the same day and there have been a few that posted 1-2 days after the flight.
The longest delay I have had recently is 7 days for a CX flight SIN-BKK. The other flights on that trip, including another CX flight, posted within 2 days....
Certainly no issues here with Points posted yesterday for SYD-BNE-TVL on the same day.
From past experience it seems like there is some form of manual intervention that occurs, either on some routes or under certain conditions, that causes these sorts of issues with what should normally be an automated process.
On my return trip to Bne last w/e, my outbound flight did not post automatically, whereas the inbound sector did. My online missing points claim was mysteriously rejected, so I rang QF who were equally mystified, and manually posted my points and SCs as we spoke.....and almost instantaneously they appeared in my account
.
I average at least 4 flights per month on QF; sometimes the points post automatically within a day; sometimes they post automatically within 3 days; sometimes they don't post at all! I have not been able to work out a reason why.
However, when I put in a missing points claim they always post within 3 days (unless I get the details wrong).
My advice to all is to always make sure you check that you receive your points and put in a claim is they are missing.
My HNL-SYD in fully paid Jetstar Starclass haven't posted after 6 days. My QF FF details were correctly entered in the booking. I will make a claim after one week of waiting!
