SIN-PER Upgrade and Change of Flight?

I had to change my return flight from SIN-PER.

I requested an upgrade 4 weeks ago when I booked the ticket online.

Yesterday I called up to change the date, but I forgot to cancel the upgrade request online first.

After the date change, I then logged into QFF to request an upgrade for the new date.

Does the first upgrade request get automatically cancelled when you change the date of your flight??

When you logged on did it come up with a "Request" box or a "Cancel" box?

Usually what I have found is that if you have requested an upgrade and then change your flight, you then have to request it on your new flight details. The upgrade doesn't automatically carry across.
