I don't think you, per se, are using the guest pass. Whoever you give it to is. Hence no problems with 3 of you accessing the QP. You, the guest you are allowed under the QP rules, and the person you gave the guest pass to (they do not need to be accompanied by you). WP is irrelevant in this case.
It's not entirely clear in the T&C so thought I'd ask here. I wasn't sure if the guest pass is a completely separate person or if they need to be a guest of a member still.

Those T&C's can be confusing, but just the other day a friend of mine was travelling PPT-AKL-MEL with a scheduled ~4 hour connection (ended up being ~8 ) and she spent that time in the AKL QP courtesy of a guest pass given to her by a friend (who wasn't travelling).

Re: QP Guest Passes
I assume what you have received in the mail is not a "Guest pass", but is a "Complementary Invitation". The invitation provides lounge access to the holder so long as they are travelling on Qantas that day and does not need to be accompanied by the member to whom the pass was delivered.

Correct. Sorry I now realise a Guest Pass is something different Yes I got a 'Complimentary invitation' when hitting Silver a while back.
Good to know I can give that to one friend and they can walk in independant of me, and have the other friend as my guest Then we can all hit the scotch and be merry.

Yes, my terminology was wrong also, a Complimentary Invitation is indeed what I was referring to.
I'd hope it's about time the term Guest Pass is put to bed forever, I think it's over 4 years since they were valid/relevant (though maybe there are still shysters out there trying to peddle them)!!

There is still such a thing as a Qantas Club Annual Guest Card. This card allows a Qantas Club member to bring one additional guest each time they visit a Qantas Club lounge.

IIRC correctly, some came out with no expiry date printed on the cards. So they could linger around forever! However, havn't seen any on Ebay for quite a while, so perhaps they are out of circulation!
