I am booked on an award ticket on QF280 which is a QF codeshare on JQ115 operated by Jetstar.
Does having the Qantas flight number QF280 mean anything? eg food/drinks on board etc.
With respect to baggage, the QF ticket also says 23kg. But the Jetstar website says 20kg. I am confused...

How old is that link? Didn't I read somewhere that award flights on JQ metal no longer include amenities and catering. Also when doing dummy booking for award flight on JQ metal it notes that:
As I understood, QF codes booked on JQ flights for paid (revenue) tickets do include ameneities food etc, but do not if they were booked as awards. Or has that changed back again?Food, beverages and entertainment are not included on Jetstar services unless you book international StarClass. Items may be purchased inflight if available, and pre-purchased on international flights (excluding New Zealand). On Jetstar international services, amenity kits (blanket, neck support, eyeshades and socks) may also be purchased
Actually I noticed the page has been changed recently.
It is not differentiating betwixt QF "revenue" passengers and QF "other" - all get the "Feed Me" Pack.
I think there may have been some changes due to the introduction of interlining:
This may be relevant: http://www.qantas.com.au/agents/dyn/...FAQs270309.pdf[*]International Long Haul Services
Two inflight meal services (one for a shorter flight to DPS) are provided for commercial Qantas codeshare customers as well as all non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.Just to complicate things, this page referes to "commercial" codeshare customers:
- Customers booked on JQ operated international services (except Tasman flights) in the economy cabin as part of a Qantas international through fare will receive complimentary food, non-alcoholic beverage and comfort pack.

I don't really know the answer; I suggest the OP either assume the worst or get an anser in writing from Qantas.
Personally, after my one and only QF codeshare on JQi - never again!

We are travelling to honolulu in July on award flights (Jetstar on the way over and Qantas on the way back). This is from the 'conditions' of my bookings.
Jetstar International..........so it appears they are not included. The difficulty is trying to pre-order meals and vod system when you are booked under a QF codeshare. When I ring Jetstar they say I cannot order with them because it was booked via Qantas so they cannot access the info and when I ring Qantas they say they cannot do it because Jetstar are the operating carrier!! Guess I'll be packing a few snacks just incase there are no meals left to purchase.
- On International Economy Award flights operated by Jetstar, food, beverages, amenity kits (blanket, neck support, eyeshade and socks) and Video On Demand units are not included. These items may be purchased inflight subject to availability. Alternatively, you may pre-purchase and confirm these items by calling Jetstar Telephone Reservations on 13 15 38 at least 24 hours before your flight, and quote your Qantas booking reference number. StarClass passengers are provided these items as part of the StarClass service.
