Looks like there are some 'bargains' (read glitches) if you are looking to travel on anyseat in the future.
For example, CBR-PER on 2nd September 08 in Business shows QF719 as 188,297 points, but QF872 CBR-SYD then QF581 SYD-PER is only 47,953 points.
Considering the classic rewards page shows the same CBR-SYD-PER trip at 52,000 points (64,000 with taxes) I'd consider the anyseat booking to be a bargain!
Similarly, booking CBR-SYD shows 34,689 points for Y (fully flexible) but only 22,673 for D.
Just did a quote for AnySeat awards, Sydney-Los Angeles-Mexico City is 1,840,449 return in J, and 2,256,404 for F, flying on 24th Dec and return on 7th Jan ....
Amazing Value Surely all of us can burn points very quickly ....
We NEED a competition now on who can find the most expensive points requirements for QFF rewards. Should be good fun in the midst of such Qantas enhancements shambles ..... 3 categories: Y, J and F. The redemptions must be based on return journey from Australia to anywhere on Earth, and must be using the lowest available points required on the day that can be booked online .....

Re: Qantas Frequent Flyer Changes - Online NOW!!
It's great that Qantas has introduced anyseat awards, but the points required are just laughable. Are they using monopoly points, or are they real point amounts they are quoting?
People seem to be concerned that 'classic' awards are going to disappear or be severely reduced. I don't see it happening.
