Qantas Club refund when I get to Lifeitme Gold?

Before I managed to get to QF Gold status, I had used about nine months of three years of QC membership. I understand that on reaching Gold, my QC membership is suspended, but what happens when I get to lifetime Gold? Will Qantas refund the remaining amount of my QC membership since lifetime Gold will give me QC Membership anyway?

or - will I be a member for 2yrs 3months after I die?

The membership will kick back in when the benefits of Lifetime Gold are enhanced to no longer include Qantas Club membership

I am in a similar situation, with around 18 months membership on Lifetime Hold.
