NO I will be AA plat by the time I go on this flight and yes I have already made sure that AA have my details on this one.
Its my mum who is contributing the extra points not me, But again she is Bronze too, Oh well I amgoing to apply at the 3 month window opening date so I hope it will go through.

AA status dose not come into play. Its either the QF FF status of the passenger or the points provider that matters. And the QF Ts and Cs states its the passenger, but my personal experiences indicate that may not be the case. Either way, you will be low on the priority list.
