Lifetime Qantas Club Membership

I couldn't find any information about lifetime Qantas Club membership on the Qantas website - is this still offered ?

Qantas finally downgraded me to (lifetime) Silver status after enjoying Platinum and then Gold for the past 8 years

... so I'm assessing what options I have now.

No more life time QF membership, and from memory, the last day you could get it was 28th September 2007. There was a thread on it here about that time advising op's about it being discontinued.

sim,

Get enough SC's for Life Time Gold and that will get you an equivalent to Life Time QC (until they change the rules)

And if someone needs to buy QP membership, it is unlikely that they are crediting enough flights to QF to make LTG in this century...

Happens when you credit them somewhere else.

I am looking into the LTG Pit - currently < 350 SC's shy of that goal ... I should clean that up in a couple of weeks.

I was very careful with my wording about not crediting to QF rather than not flying enough

Interestingly I think if I had not credited flights to AA I would be sitting pretty close to LTG at the moment...

@serfty Have you made a decision on crediting to AA after that? Is you WP status going to be at risk?
