Jetstar’s JetFlex fully flexible fares provide significant advantages to passengers and are now even more flexible and rewarding. From March 1st passengers flying on a JetFlex fare will receive the following:
* Qantas Frequent Flyer rewards: Qantas Frequent Flyers will earn points and Status Credits.
* Flexibility: The ability to change time, date and route of travel as well as the passenger name right up to (and including) the scheduled day of travel. So even if you are running late and miss your flight, you can still reschedule your flight within the next 24 hours*
* Priority Seating: Get priority aircraft boarding, for a greater choice of seating. You’ll be given your early-boarding pass at the Jetstar check-in.
Qantas Frequent Flyer Points and Status Credits
From March 1st Jetstar will offer Qantas Frequent Flyer members the ability to earn Frequent Flyer rewards when travelling on a JetFlex fare on Jetstar’s network of services to 15 destinations, across 30 routes and over 880 flights per week!
When making a JetFlex booking, all you have to do is provide your Frequent Flyer number and you will receive rewards upon travel. Jetstar has made changes to its reservations system to allow rewards to be earned automatically. By logging on to jetstar.com as a Qantas Frequent Flyer and providing consent, members can also have their Qantas Frequent Flyer contact details populated automatically in their booking, making the booking process even faster.
JetFlex passengers, who have already booked Jetstar flights for, on or after March 1, are also able to earn Frequent Flyer points and Status Credits. Simply by calling the Jetstar call centre on 131 538 you can have your Qantas Frequent Flyer Number included in your JetFlex booking details. If you forget to include your Frequent Flyer details, remember to keep your JetFlex boarding pass and send it in to Qantas Frequent Flyer for manual processing of rewards. And of course Jetstar will continue to offer Qantas Frequent Flyers opportunities to use points for Jetstar flights, subject to availability.
Qantas Frequent Flyers travelling on a Jetstar JetFlex fare will earn equivalent points per mile and Status credits as earned on Qantas flights. Both the 1000 point minimum earn and Status bonus for Silver, Gold and Platinum Frequent Flyer members will apply to this fare type. EDIT: Just spoke to a few Qantas and Jetstar ppl regarding this.
You will earn the same amount of QFF and Status Points if you fly on a JetFlex flight of these classes (Y B H and K).
