How many SCs do you get in a year?

I have done what I consider way too much travel this year but I'm sure other Platinums have done more and I'm curious what kind if range people do. I am sitting on 4605 this year with an anniversary date of 1 Dec and would be happy to never get on a plane again but I wouldn't be surprised to top 5000 this year.

What is the most you have done in a year?

Both of you are CRAZY!!!

Actually, I think I'm the crazy one to fly each week for 30 consecutive weeks (MLB-SYD-MLB) and only be at about 1,140 points. My anniversary date is on 28th Feb so got a bit more time to hit WP.

Currently I'm planning to finish my Syd trips at 1,200 points but hope to get some work in BNE to hit that platinum (1,400) before my trip to the USA on 15th Dec.

I don't fly OS much for work (last time was J class MLB-HKG-MLB on Dec 2003-100 SC each way) and most of my other international flights are award flights so I don't get any points for those.

I'm very impressed with the amount of points you have collected but its a bit of an overkill once you hit the 1,600 (partner gold) mark. :-)

Regards
Daniel

Yep. that sounds more crazy than my activity last year.

I did one domestic BNE-MEL-BNE trip (economy), plus a BNE-MEL-SYD-BNE tagged onto the end of a RTW trip (paid J except for SYD-BNE in economy).

International included one economy BNE-SIN-KUL-SIN-BNE. The rest was all paid business class, including 2 x DONE4, 1 x DONE3 and 1 x DCIR22 plus a couple of BNE-SIN-KUL return trips. Each of these being 2 to 3 weeks duration.

Must have been 100 nights away from home since my Hilton Honors profile shows 100 nights, but that includes 3 or 4 nights locally with my family.

Between April and July I was away more than home, spending 200+ hours sitting on planes. But have not flown since then .

I have booking and flights already taken this year for a total of 2080 SC.

Will probably end up just over 2100 at this stage. Trying to avoid a lot of excess flying until my next status year for obvious reasons...

As I've said before... amazing how it all adds up!

Partner Gold is 2100 SC per year. Where to after that? Building up Lifetime Gold. After Lifetime gold? AA? Then someone else...

Well the most I've ever done is 1460 last year however I should do about 1600 this year. Now that's not much compared to others except it is all dom travel with only two business flights (Mel-ADL & Mel-CBR).

Yes this is all cattle class travel. Not sure how many flights but a lot (MEL-SYD & MEL-CBR being the regulars). Checked my profile and for the first time since I joined QANTAS I have no booked flights after tonight (other than an award next year).

QANTAS might ring me to see if I'm all right!

How many SCs for Lifetime Gold?
My statement just says 7000 for Lifetime Silver (big deal). Might take me a lifetime to get even that. I manage around 600 per year but have been under lately thus my struggle this year (and the please explain from QFF). Looks like I'll finish 100 short but will go on bended knee if that will help. Used to do overseas J travel once or twice a year but haven't been since 2003. Hard to get there without it.

Not wrong. My lifetime status is now officially "tin". Hope to reach lifetime "aluminium" shortly.

I had 370 status credits last year. My best year ever and it was a lot of flying in paid discount economy and still only 10% of NM's flying for 1 year. Although I am pleased to announce that I spent a lot of time at home with my 4 blurred cream walls. Not sure if it is the alcohol or needing glasses that causes the walls to be blurred like that.
