Qantas will upgrade its CBR terminal commencing FEB08. The airline will
once again expand the current Qantas Club and will introduce a
new dedicated Business lounge before the end of 2008 (which are about to be constructed in BNE/SYD/MEL and due for completition mid-2008). Here's part of the Qantas media release below:

Qantas announced today it would undertake a $10 million program of improvements to its domestic terminal at Canberra Airport to commence in February 2008.

The improvements at Qantas' Canberra terminal include:
* expanded check-in facilities;
* installation of an additional security lane, providing extra space for periods of peak demand;
* expansion of the baggage system to provide added capacity, improved access and quicker delivery times;
* installation of an additional aerobridge allowing greater capacity during periods of peak demand.

Mr Davies said Qantas would also expand and upgrade the Qantas Club and open a new dedicated business lounge in late 2008.
"The new lounge will offer a more spacious layout, more private seating arrangements, social areas, enhanced food and business services, work suites, complimentary wireless internet and shower facilities."
