Yep, expect them later rather than now.
Much easier for them to apply the points once in a sweep rather than individually.

8. Each Eligible QFF Entrant will receive a one-off bonus of 500 Qantas Frequent Flyer points for entering into the promotion ('Entry Bonus'). For the avoidance of doubt, an Eligible QFF Entrant is entitled to one Entry Bonus only. Entry Bonuses will be credited to Eligible QFF Entrants' Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts within 2 months of the Draw Date.

The draw is 14 September, so the points should be in your account sometime in Sept/Oct/Nov.
I've been checking daily for these points, as well as points from a Travelex exchange on 27 August and a Stamford stay on 11 September. If they come through in the next week I won't need to cash in my CBA points to have enough for my business class award trip to SFO. Bet they turn up the day after I need them. ( In the case of Travelex and Stamford, they probably won't turn up at all until I kick and scream and fax receipts.)
