Note that this is a "may". They may cap you they may not. Some people had reported here that they got capped. Some people have not (including me).

I have the free Citibank gold card, but I earn a lot more than the platinum limit, and I have not been busted yet.

Of course, don't be surprised if you get busted.

Re: Best Credit Card Earning Maximum QF Frequent Flyer Points

I did a search and it seems it is time for an update on the list of best credit card earning (no limit) cards.

Citibank have given me over 2 million points in 2 years, but I have given up now. They restricted my first card from earning points, then I upgraded to Platinum and they started giving points again, but then restricted it again.

So I need to research again. Would be good if anyone could share there knowledge.

I believe the new Woolworths card has around 170,000? points per quarter restriction (ie. the maximum gift card you can earn per quarter is $1000?).

    Any others?

The Nab Amex Plat give 1.5 QF per dollar...which I use it primarily but I rarely use the Visa one... CBA Plat is my backup card when Amex is not accepted. Also, both cards are free for me... at least until 2011 for CBA..

Earth Platinum Amex = $1 = 3 FF until April then 1.5 FF no cap.
    CBA Platinum visa or M/C $1 spend = 1 FF, 150K cap.
    Citibank Platinum = $1 spend = 1 FF, 120K cap.
Business: Westpac choice visa $1 = 0.75 FF, no cap

What I want to know is the best uncapped visa or matercard.

    Hi Jim,

Westpac business choice is only offering $1 = 0.66 FF, no cap.
For every $1.50 spent on your BusinessChoice Rewards Card, you earn 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer point
It seems to me that the norm is 1:1 with cap or 1:0.66 for non cap.
So perhaps NAB one still the best to go for nocap visa/mc because you have the additional AMEX to boost (If you needed to)?!

I use a varity of cards but now always use the Qantas Amex for booking all flights. I'm getting 20,000 - 60,000 points a month - much more than I was getting before. If you spend a bit with Qantas it's certainly worth it - the bonus points are huge.

QANTAS FF points cost money. Given the lack of "expensive" Visa/MC options in Australia, I doubt you are going to find an uncapped product. Someone has to pay for all those points, and it seems that the merchant charges that Visa and MC produce don't seem to pay for points of an unlimited kind.

    UNCAPPED Visa or M/C are:

St. George Private $1= 1 FF
    WBC business $1 = 0.66 FF
    WBC (several types) $1 = 0.5 FF

What other Visa or M/C cards give .66 FF or better uncapped?

Apologies - I meant you are unlikely to find an uncapped product offering better than 1:1. Less than 1:1 there are a number of options as have been mentioned in this thread. I wasn't aware of the St George product.
