Aaah, yeah - the Cathay "Domestic Helper" fares.

Saw them a while ago when looking at some specials. Unfortunately, they require production of a "Employment Contract" number and other paperwork to get the special.

There is a huge industry of domestic helpers flying from certain Asian cities to Hong Kong to work.

Ahh, maid fares. Mum and Dad would send their maids home in J; their reasoning was that for all that hard work and the crappy pay, they deserve to travel in style. I've only ever seen them hire Indonesian maids, and only once a Filippino one. So I'm guessing majority of maids come from these countries.

Are you flying with me?
