A quick poll - would you place an AFF member identifying luggage tag on your bag so other members would recognise you as a member at a glance?

    Mr!

Yes - if you can devise a good one.

FT already has a bright yellow one....blue ones match AFF's colours but they don't give themselves away as "priority" colours

    Argh!

I use my FT tags on checked luggage and QP tags on cabin bags - don't know if there's room for more!!

Everybody could just join FT and use there tags if somebody is too lazy to design a good one. Usually the only other tag i have is my QF ones.

If they were nice ones (and I'd be prepared to pay for that), then yes. Not a huge fan of the FT ones.

I think they would still be laminated cardboard. Would be really odd and interesting if we got premium ones, e.g. similar to QF bag tags, or DJ "credit card" looking bag tags, or embossed / engraved (almost military dog-tag style) bag tags...... *the mind boggles*

I would - might even help me distingush my bag from 50 others on the baggage caraousel. You know, black bag with a Qantas luggage label.

There's a solution - paint your bag hot pink!

If my recent trips are anything to go by there are a few too many taking this option making it almost as difficult!!!! Probably better off bringing out the crocodile skin trunk......

    Slightly OT....
I recently replaced my black luggage with a set of light brown ones, just because the old baggage recognition routine at the carousel got very tiresome.
But after only a few (or several dozen, if I think back) trips, thanks to the "kind, thoughtful and gentle treatment" inflicted by the average baggage handler, they now look like they've been buried by the dog and dug back up again.

But as for luggage tags, if somebody designs something smart and atttractive I think it would be a goer. It would probably make outsiders wonder which airline or club you belong to as well...
