Mr Fitzgibbon resigned after it was revealed that he had instructed an Army general to meet with a US Insurance company, of which his brother Mark is an employee, Sky News reports.

I wonder how this will affect our air force?

I suppose so but I guess not knowing everything, I can't really comment ... but I'm sure the pressure is on being in the spotlight !!! so I guess I'm feeling more sorry for the pressure!

While it may be argued that the Minister for Defence is responsible for both the air force and navy and those two forces do travel as part of their responsibilities, I don't really see this one as relating to travel or frequent flying.
