A CL member? I find that hard to believe but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Not quite so old! All you have done since joining this forum is criticise Sydney airport and put down anyone with status.

My partner is CL member - he's the one high up - and lucky for me, I get the gong too!!

You sound like a real gentleman JohnK - wish I knew your real name - would love to pull a few strings for your next flight! It's amazing how easy it is to organise bags to go astray!

See you in the lounge!

Even though this is in the Playground, its time to bring this one back on topic.

Discussion of the topic is ok, but ensure you direct discussion at the topic and not at any individuals.

This thread will remain open for now, but if if degenerates to a playground brawl then offending posts will be removed and the thread will be closed. I suggest anyone who does not want to play the game steers clear of the playground. Those wanting to play the game of posting about top tier programs are in the right place (the Playground).

OK.

Have QF Plat - originally due to lots of flying on QF but now more due to some clever itineraries, but other than that I'm more of a second tier traveller (which is more than adequate) with NZ Gold, HH Gold & SQ PPS.

Yay now I can lay claim to one top tier membership - SPG Platinum. Made it after my PVG trip in early Dec. The card came today (impressive speed considering the holidays!), just in time for my 7 Week International Binge Drink.

I still have not received mine after 7 months - time for a call to SPG, I'd be thinking.

It will hold great sentimental value in the future - the only year of my life that I was top-tier with a hotel program.

Just go to the link on spg.com to order a replacement card.
