I recently login to my Qantas FF website and realised I have a single 15,000 extra points transaction on 23/9.

I don't use this card at all, except transactions made by the supplementary cards. Does anyone have the same experience? Is it because they upgrade Earth Plus to Earth Gold and giving out points?

Hi, this is my first post but I've been reading over this website for quite a while.

My friend received 10 000 points in his qantas account straight from earth recently. I am annoyed so I'am going to ring them up and ask where mine are but are yet to do so.

That's very interesting though. Coz Earth Gold would have 10000 points, while Earth Platinum is 20000 points when you use the card 3 times before March 2009.

My 15000 points is kind of weird, in the middle, I don't dare to call up card centre regarding to this matter, if anyone is trying to call the card centre, please let me know what their response is, thanks. I'm curious about it.

Did you get your original sign on bonus? If not maybe it has just been late posting.

Or maybe someone game them your QFF number by mistake when signing up....

Didn't the original have to be spent within 3mth of signup? Anyway you wouldn't get the new 10/20k deal from the change in name I think

I'm not a newly signup customer... This is a long story...

• I registered for Earth(plain) about 15 months ago, as it was free of charge.
• 12 months after that, I rang up and got waived my annual fee + upgrade to Earth(Plus).
• Last month got a letter said that my card is now called Earth(Gold).
• Somehow I have found the 15,000 points deposited into my account, how wonderful !!

Perhaps I gotta check the statement, it might tell better where my points come from. Will get you guys updated.

For some reason I also ended up with 15,000 pts which got posted to my QANTAS account yesterday. I have no idea why, I got my sign up bonus in the past, can't recall if it was 15k pts or not but I did received them previously.

I did book my first ever flight using the earth card recently maybe that had something to do with it. A surprise to be sure, have no idea why.

Very interesting this happened to asdfghjkl32 on 23/9 and it happens to me exactly one month later. Anyone else had this happen?

hah yeah I dont know why it is, I put a lot of flights through and put between 5 and 10k through last month.

It's so funny how we always get jealous when someone else gets free points and we don't lol
