Yep, works out well. Our corp economy fares are generally booked into B so that is best value EQP earner possible. AA treats it the same as F and J for status earning (1.5 EQP/mile) while QF counts it as discount economy for SC earning (for international flights) and 1/4 or 1/8th the earning of J and F respectively. Of course and DONE4 and a DAS13 also help. Still, if all posted to QF, I would have make Platinum and been most of the way to Partner Gold by now. But would not have had a pocket full of candy to spend as well as 8 EVIPs for next year.
A good month just the way I like it- a small number of premium sectors. Some firsts for me as well:
1. First time in LHR T5 - quite a positive experience (I may have been lucky)
2. First time departing from JFK T7 - a complete "non-event" experience
3. First time in AA Flagship suites (previously only had the old "coffins") - again, a very positive experience
Also, made it to LTS which is pretty good since up til March 2006 I had 20 SC's total!
