Re: Virgin Blue - Feral to say the least...

Hi there

Maybe the OP was referring to the monitors that display a list of flights, rather than the gate monitor

Cheers

Thanks for the Pic, as I said, couldn't remember if there was a monitor. Placed on the collum like that, it's no wonder I missed it.

True to my word - the beers on me and I would love to buy you a CL

Name the time and place and lets see if I can accommodate....

Would you like to have one in a Qantas business lounge?

Mr!

Mr!
I'll be delighted to have one on the Qantas business lounge if you're happy to have me there in a Virgin Blue polo shirt. I generally work from Sydney T2 Mondays Thursdays and Fridays (in BNE other days) so any time you're passing through...
cheers

Re: Virgin Blue - Feral to say the least...

Sorry to harp on but regardless of all other problems the best service I get in the air is from QF.

The few times I fly DJ I get the feeling the staff are more worried about their lipstick than providing top customer service. There is a real air of elitism with the young pretty DJ air crew.

JQ are a lot more friendly but they cannot seem to ever take off on time so...

QF it is.

Yes but i have found if you are travelling in cattle in QF int Y you are often treated as an annoyance to the QF crew.

DJ crew are friendly but I find nothing is more offputting than fake sincerity.

Thumbs up Re: Virgin Blue - Feral to say the least...

I fly Sydney to Coolangatta return at least 6 times a year - usually with Virgin Blue.

I much prefer Virgin Blue to Jetstar, there is good legroom and I rarely come across any staff whose behavior is less than professional.

In past years when Qantas covered the route (and I have been a QFF for more years than I can remember) I found them rather snooty and off-hand.

sandiefran,

An interesting discussion on seat pitch, the dimensions and the comparisons between DJ, JQ & QF. AFF (Seat Diagrams side-by-side)
