Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

Is anyone a member of the VS FF Scheme?

I am assuming most people are aware of their current double miles promotion for flights ex Sydney. My wife joined as she took a flight to Europe (Premium Economy) and has just received 62,000 miles which is already a good way to getting a wide range of redemptions.

For those out there not tied to QF or any particular scheme who fly to HKG or LHR regularly VS could be a good way of earning miles fast until the end of the year that can be redeemed on a range of airlines.

The redemptions seem to be good but the downside is the miles expire.

Cheers,
Russell

I'm not but one of my best friends sent his mother VS to LHR last week, via HKG; so I know that she joined their FF program and was on the double points promo.

He's gone to join her, so won't be back in australia for a couple of weeks. I'll find out more then...

Plus they are offering instant Gold status to QF and CX Gold FFs.

Re: Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

Virgin is an excellent scheme - with low points required, good service and availability on VA or prtners - inc SIA. In addition, the Club at JFK has a great restaurant which I visited last month while flying in SIA on a First Class award through Virgin Atlantic.
