Virgin America up and running

For those of you planning intra-US travel later this year, Virgin America has started selling tickets for operations starting August 8.

Current Route Structure

SFO - LAX begins August 8
SFO - JFK begins August 8LAX - JFK begins August 29
SFO - IAD begins September 26
SFO - LAS begins October 10
LAX -IAD begins October 24

Pricing

SFO - LAX from US$44 one way economy, US$149 one way First.
SFO - LAS from US$44 one way economy, US$149 one way First.
SFO - JFK from US$149 one way economy, US$389 one way First.
SFO - IAD from US$129 one way economy, US$389 one way First.
LAX - JFK from US$149 one way economy, US$389 one way First.
LAX - IAD from US$129 one way economy US$389 one way First.

They also have a points-per-dollar frequent flyer program, similar to Velocity.

Airbus A320's/A319's I believe.
