Re: The McDonald's of the Air - Tiger Airways

Terrible.

Tiger should be doing several things now
1) Telling what dirty tricks are being used to limit their Syd-Mel routes - so they can pre-announce which slots will have the discount tickets.
2) Post a draft proposed airport/tax/surcharge table, NOW
3) Posting smallish signs on airport bus'es and the late night ones, with a slogan like If your not flying Tiger, your probably paying too much
4) Harvesting email addresses (they are), tick.
5) Set up a pricing system, so that you punch in the details/number of your last greyhound bus ticket or QF Flight, to get a offer that will incentivise you to buy your return ticket with Tiger.
6) set up a stand with some airline seats so people know the width/pitch
7) Train staff, not to piss off or squeeze businessmen with the right luggage tags - not initially.
8) Suggest price ranges, but keep changing them as the model changes.
9) Test the waters by putting some tickets up on Ebay

No matter what, the others wil match or undercut

Overall, be more informative

And they should also show us what their new paint scheme will look like.

There are a few possible suggestions (Tiger's proposed new Australian livery?)here..

But it would be very funny!

Although I'm not expecting them to have that much of a sense of humour.
