I've got a friend who has a LAN flight and trying to add QF number to the booking.

I have no idea how to manage it. I used PNR on Qantas but it won't allow me to change anything of course.

On the LAN site it only has LAN pass login ?

    Call them.

An alternative would be to just keep the BPs and claim back from QF upon return.

If it's been booked through an agent it's a fairly simply process, in Galileo, you'd do the normal M.QF000000 but at the end add in /LA so that LAN can see it.

If booked direct, a phone call is going to be your best shot.

    Ahh similar for Sabre: FFQFxxxxxxx/LA

The "/LA" thing is important to send the number to LA otherwise the number goes to QF by default.

Either way it shouldn't be that hard to simply ring LA to enter the number anyway.

If my experience with LAN flying out of SYD is anything to go by, you will have to wait until you check in at the airport.

I did try and add my QF FF No, and the system said it was accepted, but on arrival at the airport the check in person said it wasn't in the booking.

Otherwise, LAN is a fine airline.

LAN use Amadeus, so if you believe your QFF number is in properly you should be able to use www.checkmytrip.com to check.
