JQ A330 to fly ex Brisbane

Was doing a booking on the weekend and noticed I could select a connecting A330 flight to Sydney with JQ and select seats in Star Class, JQ21 was the flight number and it left from the International terminal.

I may have missed something but this makes me think we are going to see some JQ A330 services out of Brisbane International very soon!

Yep, to KIX, and JAL (inc QF codeshare) no longer fly to MEL !!! (as at 25th march)
Very annoying for me, cant get an QF mainline flights to KIX except the service out of cairns and you cant make the connection without flying JQ, the QF options all get you there too late.

Oh well thats life, hopefully we will see some services back in future but i wont hold by breath.

Looking at BNE-SYD on JQ21 I was only given JetSaver and JetFlex options.

Maybe it shows up for KIX connections.

Re: JQ A330 to fly ex Brisbane

I was looking in May and it came up as a connection option for a flight to Phuket on which I am travelling starclass, so I selected 1A on JQ21 (the cabin was empty).

I think there is a restriction on StarClass that makes it only applicable to internation journeys.

Re: JQ A330 to fly ex Brisbane

For purely Dom legs it looks like JQ are offering ecy seats as QF do on their International dom services...makes sense as it a good top up. I suppose with starclass its only offered when connecting to JQ Int services so there is a consistancy with their other DOM services ie 1 cabin only
